Pikachu's Giveaways, a giveaway, entertainment, and advertising server run by myself has reached 4100 members in a month and a week. But how exactly have I achieved that? Well let's break it down. First of all, if you would like to check out the server in question, you can simply click here. It offers advertising, so there's no reason not to join it.
Ad Servers: 950 - (This is an estimate, and it is not totally accurate. I used several invite links to deduct this number, and a few have been tainted with other advertising platforms. This one is basically one large guesstimte, however I can provide evidence that my invite from 4/1/20 invite (which is an invite I used since the first, purely for advertising servers) has 399 joins since the date of its name. This means that in 9 days I gained a total of about 400 joins from posting ads on servers, with that invite alone.
This statistic also uses an invite called R.I.P Kobe Bryant, which is my DGP auto ads invite. This invite also proves the effectiveness that DGP as an advertising server, if one were to post their ads frequently enough, providing the unique appeal of their ad and server.
The DGP auto ads invite has 53 joins in total, and has existed for I believe around a month, although I am not entirely sure honestly. At this rate however, with over 400 joins from ad servers per 9 days, it is hard to deny the effectiveness that ad servers possess when used in conjunction with one another, and on a very frequent basis. CallMeCarson, Sounds World, AYS, SPC, DGP, Advertising Boat, Advertising Frenzy, Kungarna, Promote Your Server, EMPIRE, and other servers have done a great job helping me grow at a tremendously fast rate. If you would like to grow fast from advertising servers, I have written several guides about how to grow quickly from them. One of these guides is this, which also provides a resource linking to many of the servers I use daily to grow!
DISBOARD: 955 - Setting up DISBOARD to reap the most joins takes trial and error. It requires that you play around with your tags until fruitful results occur. I have written a guide on DISBOARD here to help those of you understand how to grow quicker from it. DISBOARD is all about tags, frequency of bumping, and descriptions. Rating systems also exist to help aid in the process of increasing your join rate as well. DGP has over 10,000 total joins from DISBOARD alone.
Bump Bots: 156 - The bump bots that made up these statistics are PYS/Bump Central/Open Bump/Server Mate/Liam. Bump Central had 66 joins, Open Central had 50, and the rest trailed behind these two. Furthermore, all were premium except for Liam and ServerMate. PYS is premium without auto bump. Auto bump means that the joins were passive and did not require manual work, and are thus more effective.
Top.gg: 157 - Passive joins from Top.gg/servers, a free service with crazy monthly traffic. Please read this to learn how to grow from this website. Top.gg growth lies in its short description, which works as a tag system.
Discord.Sl: 61 - This invite consists of passive joins from DiscordSL auto bump. It costs $10 per month.
Discorservers.me: 89 - This consists of passive joins from Discordservers.me premium. It costs $15 per month.
Pingmeister: 1884 - This was a paid ad from my favorite seller, Pingmeister, owner of Ping and Salar's emote list. I paid him $105 and the amount of joins I gained from him is staggering. It was very much worth it.
Rohit: 1552 - This was a paid ad from a pretty good seller, Rohit, owner of Nitro Drops. I paid him $50 and the amount of joins I gained from him is staggering. He allowed my ad to stay on his server after the giveaway ended.
Shonne/Looat: 433 - This was an ad4ad deal with Shonne from Lounge and Looat from Open Advertisements, consisting of their combined efforts.
There are some honorable mentions I'd have to add in. Discord.me has gained us around 50 net joins, but it is impossible to tell how many total joins we earned from it because Discord.me has an invite system which uses dynamic transient invitations as opposed to static permanent ones. I have also purchased ads from a few other sellers, however their join rates were typically lower. Frozen Watermelon granted me 80 joins with an ad4ad. Partner Managers have also gained us a decent number of joins. PM Heatzach produced 24 joins from partnering, and PM Circle produced 16. Other partner managers have contributed, although many of them didn't use their own link so it is difficult to say how many joins they brought us.
