What is Fiverr? Fiverr is the world's largest freelance services marketplace for businesses to focus on growth & create a successful business at affordable costs, and it's a website that's been rising in popularity lately. I grew interest in Fiverr when I realized that many server owners were using it to sell paid shoutouts, with prices ranging as low as $5, up to sky high prices depending on the server member count and the ping. I decided to give Fiverr a try on a separate occasions. The first was a colossal mistake, but it was pretty cheap.
The second time I decided to take things up a notch, and I ordered a $15 everyone ping from Fiverr user Akram100 whose server boasted an impressive 10k members. I figured his gig would be worth a try as an experiment due to his size + the fact that he was selling @everyone pings. You can take a look at his adhere.
I gave him a try due to his high reviews, and I do have to say that he did for me just as his advertisement asked. He posted my server in a public advertising section and used an @everyone ping, and the delivery speed was quick. He even provided screenshots and a link to the server to prove that everything went as it was supposed to, and it did. So far it's been 4 hours, and I received 5 joins. I won't really be able to comment on whether or not these Fiverr deals are worth it, but I have to say that for $15, I think that a Discordservers.me month membership is most likely a better deal for the price, as well as a couple of other options.
We'll see how the experiment continues to pan out, but so far I would rate this experience as okay. The join rate looks like it could be better, but the service was just fine. It's also important to remember that just because many people see an ad, doesn't mean many people will join, because click through rates exist, and I have done similar experiments with servers many times now, with servers such as EMPIRE, SPC, Positivity, and Kana Advertisements. The most joins I've received thus far out of all of these servers have come from SPC, who also provided the cheapest price, so I would consider them the winner in terms of paid shoutouts thus far.
