Here's my short thread on using advertising servers, to grow ANY type of server. Talking about how effective, this is.
There are hundreds of advertising servers, and some do nothing. There are also some ways to use those servers, and gain a ton.
I recommend, posting your advertisements, whenever you can (If it fits rules of the said server).
Here is how to effectively use advertising servers.
The first thing you need, is an ad that pops out. I recommend talking to the experts at discord growth portal, who can review your ad, and help you improve.
Next, find an advertising server. I recommend Discord Growth Portal (click here for link) and my own Heats promotion (click here for link) Note: There are many others, I just feel like plugging these 2.
Third, whatever server your looking at, check if they have a special premium advertising channel. Also check how you can get your hands on permission to type there. DO NOT BEG FOR IT FREE, usually they will give it to you after 5-10 invites. (Depending on size of server)
Next, when you receive permissions, your all set. People are more likely to look in those channels, you can move on to another server.
